We highly recommend leaving the fireworks to the professionals, however if you’re planning to do some black cats, roman candles, screaming mimis, lady fingers, fuzz buttles, snicker bombs, church burners, finger blasters, gut busters, zippity do das, crap flappers, whistlin’ bungholes, spleen splitters, whisker biscuits, honky lighters, hoosker doos, hoosker dont’s, cherry bombs, nipsy daisers, with or without the scooter stick at home, do it safely. Have a safe weekend. 🇺🇸🚒

Last night for our weekly drill we were joined by @ctfc47 and had the pleasure of having the folks at HERO – Helping Emergency Responders Overcome out to discuss The HERO team mission of helping to support and educate the First Responder Community on mental health and trauma support. The Men and Women that put on a uniform every day to risk their lives to keep others safe go through immense pressure and are often negatively impacted by daily work place trauma. Their team is dedicated to educating others on how to recognize if they need help, connecting them to the best resources and providing support for all of their needs. We hope other Police, Fire and EMS organizations join the cause to shift the culture to one that recognizes the need for mental health and trauma support among the first responders Community. #helpingemergencyrespondersovercome
