Aston Twp. Fire Dept

It is with great sadness that the Officers, Members, and Staff mourn the sudden passing of Aston Township Second Ward Commissioner Carol Graham. Commissioner Graham was a huge supporter of the ATFD and served as Fire Commissioner for many years. Commissioner Graham was also instrumental in the consolidation of the two Township Companies, Aston-Beechwood and Green Ridge. Sadly, Commissioner Graham was anxiously looking forward to the completion of the new Township Fire Station 17.

Commissioner Graham’s family were also very active within the Township. Her daughter Kit Spayd served as President of the Aston Beechwood Fire Company, and her Son-in-Law Nick Spayd was also an active member of the Aston Beechwood Fire Company and served as an Assistant Fire Marshal for the Township. Kit and Nick also served on the Fire Consolidation Committee.

Please keep the Graham and Spayd Families in your thoughts and prayers. Funeral details will be posted once arrangements are completed.

Respectfully,

Sean Joyce

Thank you all for your service.

Prayers for all to be safe. πŸ™

The gentleman that lost his home is a veteran and unfortunately had no insurance. A gofundme page has been started to help him. This was posted on another page

Thank you for your Fire Service.

Thank you for your quick response. I live next door and my kids were very upset and both had anxiety attacks. I appreciate the ccmc medics who came over to help with them. It was a very scary thing for everyone to go through. Thank you again to the fire dept, ccmc medics and the police officers who were so kind and caring to us.
