Tonight while the crew staffed the 1st District Duty Engine, The Department along with mutual aide companies just responded this residential fire in the 100 Block of Morgan Rd in town. FD units arrived with a dishwasher extinguished with a smoke condition. Crews checked for extension and secured the power to the dishwasher. The homeowners were checked by EMS. Last night at the Department meeting 4 members were welcomed into the Life Membership Club for their 20 years of service to the residents of Aston and the Aston Township Fire Department. Members Gordon D Pippin, Kristen Evans, Sean Joyce and Tom Trevelino (All Legacy Green Ridge) Congratulations group and thank you for your continued service.
