The officers, members and staff would like to congratulate FF/EMT Bob Jones on his retirement from Deputy Chief of Emergency Response at Energy Transfer, legacy Sunoco fire brigade in Marcus Hook. Chief Jones is retiring after serving the facility, surrounding communities and Delaware County for 44 years. In addition to serving as Deputy 80, Chief Jones previously served as Chief 80 for Legacy Company Sunoco and then Chief of Emergency Response at the Eagle Point Refinery in NJ while under North East Refining. Over his tenure Chief Jones played a vital role in furthering Delaware counties emergency response personnel not only as an asset responding to several flammable liquid incidents throughout the county but also as a hazmat and Industrial fire response instructor for Texas A&M.
