TRUCK AND ENGINE RUN CITY FIRE

Administrator 911 Hot Designs    November 18, 2005    No Comments

The Green Ridge Volunteers started the day off at 7am with an automatic fire alarm. The alarm was tripped and the company returned for service. The Rescue was special called to the City of Chester for a building fire.  Rescue 63 was unable to respond because the pump was being looked at by Halo services.  Truck 63 was next up on the ticket for this building fire.  The crew from Truck 63 opened up in the rear and went into service with the aerial and a portable deck gun.  Truck 63 was supplied by Engine 12.  Reliance 61, Brookhaven 52 and Garden City were also on this fire. During the fire the Utility responded to Scott Ln in Beechwoods local for a building fire.  Units on that scene were under the command of A/C K Carr 729c.  The Qrs also had a run during the day.  Thanks to Drexel Hill Engine 20 and Lansdowne Truck 19 for covering while we were out.  Picture courtesy of  Frank Wesnoski .
